OSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK
This park is filled with vine cactus that burst into crimson flowers during the spring. The temperatures are more bearable and is ideal for rock climbing and camping.
YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK
The spring time begins the peak waterfall season here where even the smallest creeks gush water. Mirror Lake fills to the brim, offering a stunning reflection of Half Dome that can’t be seen during drier times of the year.
GREAT SAND DUNES NATIONAL PARK
This 30 square miles of enormous sand dunes is a sight to see. You can hike it, sled or even snowboard down it. Spring is the best time, especially after a rainstorm as it gives the dunes more stability.
ARCHES NATIONAL PARK
Arches has the highest density of natural stone arches in the world which makes it a surreal experience. During spring the temperatures are mild and the views are beautiful as snow capped mountains can still be seen.
ZION NATIONAL PARK
This spot has cooler spring temperatures suitable for hiking along its many exposed trails. It boasts spectacular high-volume waterfalls courtesy of the snow melt.
GLACIER NATIONAL PARK
Although Glacier can still be chilly in the spring, it means fewer visitors to this beautiful locale. In the spring, you’ll see more critters than people at Glacier, including bears, moose, elk, and sheep, so you can enjoy the wildlife.
